Hey! My first post!
Hello, I’m Bruce Kim. I’m an intercessory and media missionary at the International House of Prayer—IHOP—in Kansas City, MO in the good ol’ U.S. of A. That means that what I do is pray to God, the Three-in-One of Jesus and my Father in heaven and the Holy Spirit.
What I’m trying to make my life all about is believing in Jesus Christ, and who He says He is, and that He is coming again to reign on this earth. Life is worth living only when we live it for Him. We only know love and joy and peace when we know God because He IS love, joy, and peace.
God loved us enough to send us His Son so that we might know Him. His Son, Jesus, lived a perfect life and died as a perfect sacrifice for us so that we may believe in Him, taking up His righteousness, so that we can be with Him, God, in heaven. God can only allow perfectly righteous, sinless people in heaven because He IS righteousness and if He were to allow a single iota of unrighteousness He would no longer be righteous. All we have to do is believe in Him and we get everything because He is everything. If we choose to not believe in Him, then we choose to be without Him in hell. Seriously, the choice is up to you because He doesn’t want to force people to believe in Him. He loves us enough to give us the choice.
Thanks for reading this. I hope that you can come to know God more from my blog. My one sentence reason for writing this blog is this: With the way the world is today, anyone can reach the entire world through a blog and it is my duty to preach the gospel of God and so what better way than this?
Here is a summation of what I believe. This is the Nicene Creed that:
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.
Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.
And I believe in one holy catholic/universal and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
